LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles County Sheriff's investigators are trying to identify who wounded four men in a drive-by shooting.

Sgt. Carlos Ortega said Saturday the men were hanging out in front of a South Los Angeles apartment complex just before midnight Friday when someone opened fire from a passing vehicle.

He had few other details and said the investigation was ongoing.

The men were taken to the hospital, and Ortega said none of their wounds was life threatening.
