Giants defensive end Ayers and offensive tackle Flowers out, Redskins linebacker Riley out


EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey — The New York Giants were without defensive end Jr. and offensive tackle on Thursday night against the Washington Redskins.

will replace Ayers (hamstring), while the Giants will shuffle their line a bit to replace Flowers (ankle), their first-round draft pick. will move from left guard to tackle and will start at guard. is starting for (concussion). He was ruled out Wednesday.

(knee) was active for the first time this season and listed to start at middle linebacker.

The Redskins will start at linebacker for Jr. (calf), who is out. will start for (hamstring), who is missing his second straight game.
