JACKSON, Mississippi — Authorities say a Forest man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison in a methamphetamine case.
A news release from the U.S. attorney's office says 25-year-old Willie Carlos Johnson was sentenced Monday.
He was convicted on a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine in the Brusha Community of Scott County.
A news release says Johnson was indicted following an investigation called "Operation Brusha" that targeted illegal narcotics distribution in Scott County. He pleaded guilty on March 4.
