Police: Nebraska man pronounced dead at Omaha residence, found with gunshot wound to chest


OMAHA, Nebraska — Omaha police are investigating a fatal shooting of a man.

The department identified the man as 59-year-old Frank Sanders on Monday morning.

WOWT-TV reports police received a 911 call late Sunday night from a woman who said her boyfriend had been shot.

Authorities found Sanders dead in an area apartment with a gunshot wound to the chest. It's unclear if he lived at the residence.

Police haven't released information about the shooter.
