DECATUR, Georgia — Police in Atlanta's eastern suburbs have apprehended a suspect in a deadly shooting.

CBS 46 reports (http://bit.ly/1rWGtgL) that a man in his 20s was shot and killed at the Wesley Club Apartments in Decatur around 10 p.m. Tuesday. Police say he was shot by an SUV full of people, and the vehicle fled the scene.

About an hour later, police spotted the SUV -- a black Chevrolet Avalanche -- and began chasing it. The pursuit ended when the vehicle wrecked in Atlanta at Macedonia Road and Browns Mill Road. No one was hurt in the crash. Police took one suspect into custody.

Names of the shooting victim and the suspect weren't immediately released.

DeKalb County Police Lt. John Medina said the SUV was reported stolen.
