RAPID CITY, South Dakota — Authorities say a shooting in a Rapid City home that left a man with minor injuries was drug-related.

The 54-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of illegal drug use.

The Pennington County Sheriff's Office says the man was in the home when two people forced their way in early Monday and fired several shots before leaving.

Investigators believe the theft of a vehicle from the home on Sunday also was drug-related. The vehicle was found on fire the same day.

Authorities are working to identify the shooting suspects.
