Police: Spencer man dies in motorcycle crash after getting pinned under vehicle


SPENCER, Massachusetts — A Spencer man has died after his motorcycle collided with a car and he was pinned underneath another vehicle.

Police say 23-year-old Stephen Healy Jr. died in the crash just after 6 p.m. Saturday.

Police tell The Telegram & Gazette ( ) it appears Healy was traveling east on Route 9 and passing cars in a no-passing zone.

The motorcyclist collided with a Toyota sedan traveling west and making a left turn into David Prouty High School.

The impact threw Healy off his motorcycle and he ended pinned under a westbound Jeep Cherokee. No one else was injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
