1 killed, 3 injured in multiple vehicle crash north of Kalispell on US Highway 2

KALISPELL, Montana — One person has died and three were injured in a crash involving three vehicles north of Kalispell on U.S. Highway 2.

Authorities say a passenger car was swerving through lanes of traffic Tuesday afternoon before it collided with two other vehicles near Glacier Park International Airport.

A Montana Highway Patrol trooper says a blue Oldsmobile had entered oncoming traffic striking an SUV head-on which then hit a pickup truck.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Oldsmobile and a mother and infant in the SUV were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The identities of those killed and injured have not been released.
