LINCOLN, Nebraska — Braden Wright rushed for two touchdowns and passed for a third, and Moses Bryant ran and passed for TDs in top-ranked Elkhorn South's 32-21 victory over No. 3 Aurora in the Class B championship game at Memorial Stadium on Monday night.
The Storm (13-0) overcame a 21-6 deficit in the second quarter to win its first state football title.
Bryant ran for a 13-yard touchdown late in the third quarter and threw a 17-yard TD pass to Derrick Vander Linden early in the fourth to put the Storm up 25-21. Bryant finished with 113 yards on 20 carries, and he was 2 for 2 for 46 yards passing.
Wright completed 10 of 21 passes for 236 yards.
Preston Dibbern led Aurora (12-1) with 172 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries, and Grant Fox hit 22 of 39 passes for 212 yards but was intercepted three times.
