Police: Man, 23, shot twice while driving in Syracuse


SYRACUSE, New York — Police say a man has been shot and injured while driving in Syracuse.

It happened around 7:15 p.m. Saturday.

Syracuse Police say the 23-year-old victim was driving in his car when he passed a man at the corner of Oakwood Avenue and Burt Street.

They say the unidentified man, who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, fired several gunshots into the car.

The victim was shot twice— once in the torso and once in the arm.

Police say he is expected to survive.

No arrests have been made.
