LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas police are questioning a person about the death of a man who apparently was stabbed overnight before driving to a neighborhood and collapsing.

Officer Larry Hadfield said Wednesday that investigators are still preparing an initial report on the slaying, which was discovered when the man was found about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 5400 block of Holmby Avenue.

That's near Charleston Boulevard and Lindell Road, west of the Las Vegas Strip.

The name of the dead man and the man being questioned weren't immediately made public.
