Maintenance workers find body of man in water in Mandan; police working to identify body


BISMARCK, North Dakota — Police in Mandan are working to identify the body of a man found by maintenance workers in water in the Lakewood area.

The Bismarck Tribune ( ) reports the body was found around 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Mandan Deputy Police Chief Paul Leingang says the body was taken to the North Dakota State Forensic Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

Leingang says a cause of death was not immediately apparent.
