Police searching for 2 suspects in armed robbery at Casino Korner in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, South Dakota — Police are searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery at an Aberdeen casino.

According to a press release from the Aberdeen Police Department, the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from Casino Korner on Monday night. Police confirmed there were shots fired inside of the casino, but no one was injured.

Witnesses told police that two men wielding handguns entered the casino through a back door. The Aberdeen American News (http://bit.ly/1urpFEg ) reports the witnesses said they heard two or three gunshots in the casino and the suspects yell at people to get on the floor before the men fled.

Aberdeen police are continuing to investigate the incident. The department is urging anyone with information to come forward.
