Coroner IDs 21-year-old man shot to death in Denver; arrest warrant issued for teen suspect


DENVER — Authorities have released the name of a man who was shot to death in Denver.

The Denver coroner's office identified the victim Monday as 21-year-old Christian Martinez. He died at a hospital after the shooting that left three other people injured in the Baker neighborhood Friday night.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 19-year-old Darius Eugene Ratcliff, who is wanted on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Jordan Larusso, who lives down the street, told the Denver Post ( ) he was awakened by gunshots and screams. Investigators have not said what led to the shooting.
