Pizza delivery driver charged with falsely reporting robbery in Newark, Delaware

NEWARK, Delaware — Newark Police have charged a pizza delivery driver with falsely reporting a robbery.

Officers say 20-year-old Fitzalbert Lawson Jr. of Newark reported that three masked men robbed him of cash on Sept. 13 after he completed a delivery on Linden Street.

Lawson turned himself into police headquarters on Tuesday. He is charged with falsely reporting an alleged incident to law enforcement.
