Sara Takanashi of Japan wins her 5th straight women's World Cup ski jump

ZAO, Japan — Sara Takanashi of Japan won her fifth straight women's World Cup ski jump on Saturday.

The 19-year-old Takanashi had jumps of 94.5 and 100 meters to finish with 241.3 points.

Maja Vtic of Slovenia finished second with 238.7 points after jumps of 94.5 and 97.5 meters, followed by compatriot Ema Klinec in third with 236.1 after jumps of 93.5 and 98 meters.

With six victories this season, Takanashi leads the overall standings with 680 points, 242 ahead of Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria.
