TULSA, Oklahoma — A Tulsa Fire Department official says a man died in a house fire over the weekend.

Fire Capt. Stan May tells the Tulsa World (http://bit.ly/1a3RI3o ) the department received multiple reports of a fire at a north Tulsa home late Saturday.

May says crews arrived to find the blaze had reached the home's attic. The man died at the scene and the home is considered a total loss.

Authorities didn't identify the man on Sunday.

May says the state fire marshal is investigating. The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's office will make a final determination of how the man died.
