BATON ROUGE, Louisiana — A Baton Rouge optometrist has been indicted on charges she defrauded Louisiana's Medicaid program.
Attorney General James "Buddy" Caldwell's office said the indictment returned Wednesday by an East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury accuses 55-year-old Diana LeBreton, of Baker, of falsifying patient charts and billing records to charge the program for services that hadn't been performed.
A date for LeBreton's arraignment on theft and money laundering charges wasn't immediately set.
