SCHENECTADY, New York — Two of three men charged in the fatal drive-by shooting of a man in upstate New York have pleaded not guilty to murder.
The Daily Gazette of Schenectady reports (http://bit.ly/1ZfcK4w ) 23-year-old Myliek Lebron, of Schenectady, and 20-year-old Joshua Sayles entered the pleas Wednesday in Schenectady County Court.
The two men are charged with second-degree murder and weapons possession. The third defendant, a 16-year-old boy, is due for arraignment on Friday.
Prosecutors say the three are accused of fatally shooting 19-year-old Lasean Gause June 29 in Schenectady.
Prosecutors say Lebron and the teenager opened fire from a car that Sayles was allegedly driving. Authorities believe Gause was not the intended target.
A fourth person was arraigned last week on charges he allegedly provided guns that were used in the shooting.
