Woman killed in Las Vegas crash, another driver injured

LAS VEGAS — Authorities are investigating a crash in Las Vegas that left one person dead and another injured.

Police say at least three vehicles, including a Regional Transportation Commission bus, collided Thursday afternoon.

Police say the driver of an Audi ran a red light and crashed into the RTC bus and a white pickup truck.

The Audi driver had to be removed from the vehicle. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The RTC driver sustained moderate injuries in the crash.

Police shut down the intersection of W. Desert Inn Road and S. Fort Apache Road for several hours.
