CINCINNATI — finished with 18 points and a career-high 10 assists while added 16 points and 13 boards as Cincinnati used a strong second half to beat South Florida 88-57 Thursday night.

Clark's collected double digits in rebounds in five of the last nine games.

The Bearcats led 36-29 at the half. Out of the break, hit a 3, made a layup and a three-point play by Clark made it 44-31 with 17:42 remaining. The lead swelled to 59-32 after Caupain made two free throws.

Cincinnati (17-6, 7-3 American Athletic) got 11 points each from and Jacob Evans while Cobb and Ellis had 10 apiece. The Bearcats had just seven turnovers to 21 for South Florida (5-19, 2-9). Cincinnati shot 29 for 64 from the field (45.3 percent).

Jahmal McMurray finished with 17 points for the Bulls. Bo Ziegler and Jaleel Cousins each had 10 for South Florida.
