HOLLEY, New York — Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand will be serving lunch at a community center and putting together gift baskets in western New York as the holidays approach.
Gillibrand says she will volunteer midday Monday at Eastern Orleans Community Center in Holley. The center west of Rochester distributes hundreds of holiday gift baskets to needy families.
The senator will travel later Monday to Wellsville in the Southern Tier, where she will volunteer at the ACCORD Corporation Head Start facility. She will package "book, blanket and buddy" care packages for children entering foster care or in emergency situations.
