After a week of overseas travels, Obama returns to White House on a rainy evening

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is back at the White House after a weeklong trip abroad.

Air Force One touched down at Joint Base Andrews early Saturday evening during a drizzle.

Obama's trip included a nuclear security summit in the Netherlands, an economic meeting in Brussels with allies from the Group of Seven leading industrial nations, and a visit with Pope Francis during a stop in Rome.

Obama also traveled to Saudi Arabia to visit King Abdullah. The president left the Middle East for the return flight to Washington.
