LAKE CHARLES, Louisiana — Desharick Guidry recorded his 18th double-double of the season, tied for most in Division I this season, and Jamaya Burr hit four free throws in the final 18 seconds to help McNeese State hold off Southeastern Louisiana for a 74-69 win on Monday night.

Guidry had 21 points, on 9-of-13 shooting, and 13 rebounds for McNeese State (10-14, 4-9 Southland Conference) and Burr finished with 17 points and nine assists.

Zay Jackson had 15 points, a career-high 10 rebounds and nine assist for Southeastern Louisiana (8-17, 5-7). Cedric Jenkins scored 18 and Onochie Ochie added 12.

After grabbing an offensive rebound, Ochie was fouled and hit the first of two free throws with 1:04 left to pull the Lions within one.

Southeastern Louisiana made just 1 of 5 field goals, with one turnover, from there and McNeese made 6 of 6 free throws down the stretch to seal it.
