Police find man shot to death in north Minneapolis; gunman sought

MINNEAPOLIS — One man is dead after a shooting in north Minneapolis.

Police responded just before 9 p.m. Friday to the sound of shots fired. While officers were on their way, 911 callers said someone had been shot.

Officers arrived and found a man dead in the street.

The suspect ran away before police arrived. The shooting is not believed to be random.

Police have made no arrests. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
