Winter storm moving into Colorado mountains by Sunday

DENVER — A strong winter storm is moving into the Colorado mountains and could bring heavy snowfall.

Forecasters say the north central mountains could see 1 to 2 feet of fresh snowfall from Sunday into Monday. A Winter storm warning is in effect for the area.

Officials say travel in and out of the high country will be difficult with heavy snowfall and strong winds expected.
