3-year-old St. Louis boy shot in the foot while playing in his family's yard

ST. LOUIS — A 3-year-old St. Louis boy is recovering after being shot in the foot while playing in the yard outside his home.

KSDK-TV (http://on.ksdk.com/120ilwg ) reports that the boy's father was inside when he heard gunfire. He went out to check on his son and found he hat been hit in the foot by a stray bullet.

The child was taken to a hospital. Police are looking for the shooter.
