CAVALIER, North Dakota — The 2014 annual vehicle permit for North Dakota state parks recognizes the 50th anniversary of Icelandic State Park in the northeastern part of the state.
The state Parks and Recreation Department is unveiling the permit Sunday during the park's annual Christmas Open House and Visitor Appreciation Day.
The park is 5 ½ miles of west of Cavalier on state Highway 5. Entrance to the park is free Sunday.
The annual permit can be purchased at the Parks and Recreation Department in Bismarck or at any state park for $25. Senior citizens and disabled military veterans qualify for a discount.
