ADAMSVILLE, Alabama — A fire chief says four family members were killed in a house in central Alabama.

Adamsville Fire Chief Scott Harbison told local news media that fatal fire occurred Saturday morning involving four found dead in the ages of 4, 6, 20 and 63. Harbison says a 1-year-old has been transferred to the local children's hospital.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and still under investigation.
