Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon active, starting despite foot injury against Titans


JACKSONVILLE, Florida — Jacksonville Jaguars running back is active and starting against the Tennessee Titans.

Yeldon missed the short week of practice with a foot injury and was in a walking boot Monday. But the rookie was given clearance to play after testing his foot on the field a few hours before kickoff Thursday.

Titans running back was a healthy scratch. Rookie was active over him. Receiver , cornerback , guard , receiver , defensive lineman and nose tackle also were inactive for the Titans.

Jaguars receivers (thumb) and (concussion) were active. Greene, activated from short-term injured reserve Wednesday, is expected to serve as the punt returner.

Running back , running back , cornerback , offensive lineman , tight end , defensive tackle and defensive end were inactive.
