Drug overdose killed man found in ticketed pickup

KALAMAZOO, Michigan — A 26-year-old man whose body was found two months ago inside a twice-ticketed pickup truck on a Kalamazoo street died of a heroin overdose.

Police tell (http://bit.ly/11YCx1n ) MLive.com Friday that investigators are trying to determine how Jayme Earle of Richland got the heroin.

Autopsy results in Earle's death were received Friday.

His body was found slumped over in the passenger's seat in early March by officers looking into a report of a suspicious vehicle.

Police say they went to check on the truck after someone reported seeing it parked one morning and in the same spot the next day.

One ticket was from 2:40 a.m. one day, while the other was issued at 2:23 a.m. the following day when Earle's body was found.
