Man who pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamine sentenced to 17 years in federal prison

FARGO, North Dakota — A North Dakota man has been sentenced to 17 years in prison on a drug charge.

Blake Kielsa pleaded guilty in March to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Authorities say the conspiracy involved methamphetamine that was obtained in the Minneapolis area and brought to the Grand Forks area for distribution.

Another defendant in the case, Todd Myrvik, was sentenced in June to 12 years in prison.
