BRECKSVILLE, Ohio — A body found in a river in the Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH'-guh) Valley National Park has been identified as a woman who was reported missing last week.

Two park rangers found the body around 6 p.m. Thursday north of Highland Road Bridge in Brecksville. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner confirmed Friday it was the body of 30-year-old Hillary Sharma.

Sharma of Eastlake was last seen Aug. 19. Her car was found around midnight Aug. 21 in the parking lot at the park's main visitor center.

Sharma's cause of death is pending determination by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.

Park officials say the investigation hasn't led them to believe park visitors are at any increased risk.
