Northern Iowa woman has made plea deal in child sex assault case, court records show

CLARION, Iowa — A 50-year-old northern Iowa woman has made a plea deal in a child sex abuse case.

The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/1x7iFL2 ) that Diana Guido, of Goldfield, has agreed to plead guilty to a felony charge of sex abuse. She's expected to make the plea at a hearing on Nov. 26 in Wright County District Court in Clarion. Prosecutors have agreed to drop related misdemeanor charges in exchange for her plea.

Her trial had been scheduled to begin Tuesday.
