Man arrested in Delaware home invasion that injured 60-year-old woman

SEAFORD, Delaware — A Delaware man has been arrested in a home invasion that injured a 60-year-old woman.

Delaware State Police say 26-year-old Jesse Dudley of Seaford walked into the woman's home Monday afternoon, forced her to the ground at gunpoint and demanded money.

When the woman got up soon after, police say Dudley threw her to the ground, threatened to kill her and fired a bullet at her bed. Police say Dudley then fled with the woman's guns, prescription medication, money and a video game system.

He was arrested within a couple hours and charged with robbery, home invasion, terroristic threatening, reckless endangerment, and numerous other counts.

It's unclear whether Dudley has an attorney.

Police say the woman had a minor arm injury. Police say she knew Dudley through a family member.
