DENVER — One man has been injured in a shooting involving Denver police who were investigating a carjacking.

Denver police spokesman Doug Schepman says officers tracked down a black Audi that was connected to an armed carjacking in Aurora earlier Saturday. Shots were fired when officers tried to pull over the car Saturday night.

Schepman says that one suspect was shot and two people fled the vehicle on foot. Police say the two suspects were later found in the neighborhood and arrested.
