TIPTON, Indiana — Heavy rains in parts of central Indiana has caused some isolated flash flooding.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning early Monday for parts of Tipton and Hamilton counties after up to 4 inches of rain fell around the city of Tipton, about 25 miles north of Indianapolis.

Flooded roads were reported in and around Tipton, with police saying Tipton Park had some high water from Cicero Creek. Officials said some flooding was anticipated along Indiana 19 between the Hamilton County town of Cicero and Tipton.
