North Dakota inmate apprehended after escaping from court before bond hearing

WILLISTON, North Dakota — An inmate is back in custody after escaping from a courthouse where he was scheduled to have a bond hearing.

The Williston Herald reports (http://bit.ly/ZKE8WC) that 19-year-old Calum Kinstler was facing a several felonies and misdemeanors stemming from an alleged theft and armed robbery when he escaped from the Williams County Courthouse on Monday.

Officers were able to apprehend him a few minutes later at a nearby garage.

This was the second inmate to escape from the courthouse in a week.
