8 arrested in heroin, cocaine drug-trafficking investigation in Keene; weapons, drugs found

CONCORD, New Hampshire — The U.S. attorney's office says eight people have been arrested following a long-term investigation into the trafficking of heroin and cocaine in the Keene, New Hampshire, area.

They range in age from 28 to 56 and are from the New Hampshire communities of Richmond, Winchester, Keene, and from Lawrence, Massachusetts. The charges range from unlawful distribution of heroin to conspiracy and possession.

Authorities said 14 firearms and "significant quantities" of heroin and cocaine were found at one residence.
