University plans gala to mark 50th anniversary of nursing program

HAMMOND, Louisiana — The Southeastern Louisiana University School of Nursing will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the university's nursing program at a gala on Oct. 10.

The ticketed event will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Student Union addition on the Hammond campus.

A social hour is planned for 6 p.m. and the evening's events are expected to continue until 9 p.m.

Tickets are $40 per person and $25 for students.
