High school student, 16, killed in motorcycle crash in Sturbridge

STURBRIDGE, Massachusetts — A teenager has died following a motorcycle crash in Sturbridge.

Police said 16-year-old Colin Krenzul, who lived in the town of Holland, was pronounced dead at a hospital following the accident on Leadmine Road at about 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

No other vehicles were involved.

Police told The Republican newspaper of Springfield (http://bit.ly/1oXNn16 ) that the teen was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and had a valid motorcycle permit.

Krenzul was a student at Tantansqua Regional High School in Sturbridge.

State and local police are investigating.
