CHICAGO — Republican candidate for Illinois governor Bruce Rauner (ROW'-nur) has spent much of the day at a Chicago courthouse without being chosen for jury duty.
A campaign spokesman says Rauner took a break from campaigning Tuesday after being summoned for jury duty at Cook County's Richard J. Daley Center Courthouse.
The Winnetka businessman faces state Sens. Bill Brady and Kirk Dillard and state Treasurer Dan Rutherford (ROOTH'-ur-furd) in the March 18 primary.
The four candidates are debating Tuesday night at the University of Chicago.
