NEW YORK — A 23-year-old Queens man is facing manslaughter and drunken-driving charges after a fiery crash that killed the driver of the other car.
The accident happened at about 1 a.m. Saturday in Howard Beach.
Police say James Celauro was driving a Ford sedan when he slammed into a Saturn driven by 38-year-old Jimmy Sinisi.
Sinisi was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A passenger from his car was taken to the same hospital in stable condition.
Celauro was arrested later Saturday on charges of drunken driving and vehicular manslaughter. It was not clear if he had an attorney.
