Bradds scores 22, Bradshaw 21 in Belmont's 70-64 comeback win over UT Martin

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Evan Bradds scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Craig Bradshaw added 21 points, including 3 of 6 3-pointers, and Belmont rallied to beat UT Martin 70-64 on Thursday night.

Reece Chamberlain added 14 for the Bruins (12-7, 4-2 Ohio Valley), who shot 8 of 28 from distance.

Belmont led 10-7 after a 3 by Taylor Barnette, but UT Martin pulled ahead on a 16-0 run and led 33-23 at halftime.

Belmont tied it at 57 after Bradshaw's layup that capped a 14-2 run. Bradshaw then hit three free throws after a technical foul on the Skyhawks and Chamberlain added a jumper and two free throws for a 64-59 Bruins lead with 1:13 left. Deville Smith scored a layup, free throw, dunk and 3-pointer to pull UT Martin within 70-67 with nine seconds left, but it was not enough.

Smith led the Skyhawks (11-7, 3-2) with 19 and Marshun Newell and Twymond Howard had 15 apiece.
