ALGONA, Iowa — The trial of a 25-year-old Wesley man accused of attempted murder has been moved to Primghar in O'Brien County.
Andrew Zeitler is accused of shooting 25-year-old Dustin Kiefer several times during a fight on July 21 in Wesley. Zeitler has pleaded not guilty.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/17UxRzH) that Zeitler asked the court to move his trial out of Kossuth County. His trial is now set for Feb. 28.
According to online court records, Zeitler plans to rely on self-defense and intoxication as a defense.
His trial had originally been set for Dec. 3.
