MONROE, Louisiana — Federal prosecutors say a 48-year-old West Monroe has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for bank fraud.
The News-Star reports (http://tnsne.ws/1bXV2bo) U.S. District Judge Robert James also sentenced Glen A. Miller on Friday to five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay $97,413 in restitution.
He was found guilty Aug. 14 after a three-day jury trial.
Prosecutors say Miller, an independent technology contractor, stole $97,413 from Will Transport, a Monroe company
They say Miller stole blank Will Transport company checks, made them payable to himself and used the company's stamp to put signatures on the checks.
