WHEATON, Illinois — Flooding has delayed the start of the first trial in the Chicago area to allow cameras in court during testimony and through to a verdict.
The Daily Herald reports (http://bit.ly/115s97v) that flooding Thursday closed the DuPage County courthouse. That's where the trial was to begin Thursday for Johnny Borizov. He's accused of instigating the murder of three members of a suburban family. Cameras will be permitted when attorneys make their opening statements.
Officials said Borizov's trial will likely begin Tuesday. He is accused of talking a friend into killing Jeffrey and Lori Kramer and their 20-year-old son, Michael, in their Darien home in 2010. The Kramers' daughter was Borizov's ex-girlfriend.
