Lawrence County authorities release names of man, woman found dead after mobile home fire

RAVENDEN, Arkansas — Lawrence County authorities have released the names of a man and woman found dead following a mobile home fire.

Detective Jamie White told KAIT-TV (http://bit.ly/1GmNhfk ) that 23-year-0ld Jamie Ashford and 39-year-old Atlas Smith appear to have died of smoke inhalation.

Their bodies were found early Tuesday after firefighters put out the flames that were reported by a passer-by.

The cause of the fire has not been determined and remains under investigation by the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office and Arkansas State Police.
