No injuries reported in small plane crash near Henderson Executive Airport

HENDERSON, Nevada — An airport official says no one was hurt in the weekend crash of a single-engine Cessna aircraft near Henderson Executive Airport.

Airport spokeswoman Christine Crews tells KSNV-TV (http://bit.ly/YgT6bM ) the crash happened about 4 p.m. Sunday less than a mile south of the airport.

There was no fire and it wasn't clear how many people were aboard at the time.

Crews says she doesn't know if the plane was coming from somewhere else or if it had trouble after takeoff and was returning to the airport.

The National Transportation Safety Administration and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating.
