Little Rock police seek suspect after woman dies following shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — Police in Little Rock are seeking a suspect in the shooting death of a woman outside her home.

Lt. Sidney Allen says officers responding to a report of shots fired about 9:45 p.m. Saturday found 44-year-old Tanuyna Wilson on the ground in front of her home on West 11th Street. Allen says Wilson was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Allen says witnesses told investigators they heard two gunshots and a woman scream, then saw a man running from the area.

Allen says no suspects have been arrested or identified.
